WHAT DOES THE WINE TOUR PRICE I PAY COVER?
The tour price covers everything including your transportation, artisan picnic lunch, tour guide & generous wine tastings. It does not cover gratuity for your driver.
WHAT IF I AM STAYING AT A HOTEL, HOME, OR CABIN?
We can pick you up at your home, hotel or cabin within a 10 mile radius of downtown Helen for a $10 per person fee round-trip or meet at a designated pick up location in the Helen area at no charge. Notice of designated pick up location will be given at least one day prior to tour. ALL pick up locations must be on a paved or well-maintained graded road that is wide enough for our large buses to access and turn around. If the pick up location is inaccessible by our bus, arrangements for pick up at the nearest accessible location will be made.
HOW DO YOUR VIP WINE TOURS WORK?
Pick up times will vary with each tour, but are mostly between 10:00am and 1:00-pm. Pick up times and locations may vary. Once all the guest are onboard, your tour guide will discuss your itinerary and share some brief information about North Georgia wine country. Once you arrive at your first winery or wine tasting room, you will enjoy wine tastings and have a chance to have a glass of wine on one of the many beautiful vineyard and winery overlooks, explore the winery or vineyard, enjoy live music on weekends (music schedules will vary at each winery) and buy wine and wine related merchandise. You can expect to spend an average of 45 min to one hour at each winery. Lunch will be provided on most tours and is usually served at the first or second winery on the itinerary. At the conclusion of your tour, your guide will return you to your original pick up location.
WHAT KIND OF GRATUITIES SHOULD I GIVE MY DRIVER?
If you have received great service during your wine tour, 15-20% per person is recommended. Our drivers are trained to provide comfortable and safe transportation, fun and informative information about North George’s wine country and region and a VIP wine tasting experience for all of our customers. If you have received great service by your server at the winery, they appreciate tips as well.
DO I LEAVE GRATUITIES FOR THE SERVER AT THE WINERIES?
Yes, If your wine server gave a great tasting experience, he or she would appreciate a little something that shows your appreciation. Some wineries include small tips for groups.
HOW LONG DO THE TOURS LAST?
Most tours last between 3 to 6 hours, depending on how many wineries are visited and on how much time guests have to spend on the tour.

ARE THERE VEGETARIAN, VEGAN, AND GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS DURING THE TOUR?
Yes. Please notify us in advance of special dietary preferences when you make your reservation.
CAN I BRING ALCOHOL ON THE TOUR?
No, we want our tours to be fun, but safety is our number one priority. Wine can be consumed at the wineries, tasting room or restaurant during the tour. Extra alcohol consumption on the vehicle during the tour can result in injury, accidents and disruption of the tour.
CAN I BRING FOOD, WATER AND SOFT DRINKS ON THE TOUR?
Yes, you can bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages that you can enjoy on the tour in between stops and at certain wineries. ‘Most wineries DO NOT allow any outside food or alcohol. Passengers will be responsible for any food or beverage trash and cleanup (garbage bags are available).

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE? CAN I PAY CASH?
Yes, you must pay in advance via credit card by clicking “Book Now” at the top of the page. All payments must be made through website or VIP Tour office unless special arrangements are made.
HOW DO I BOOK A LARGE GROUP WITH GUESTS THAT ARE PAYING INDIVIDUALLY?
Have your group leader contact us at 706-878-1011 to let us know the name of your group and how many guests you expect. We will place a hold for the number of guests in your party, and then the guests will go online to individually pay for their reservations. Please make sure your guests note the group name under which the reservation is being held.
THERE ARE ONLY TWO OF US, WILL WE BE SHARING THE TOUR WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
Most parties of two join our public tours and will share their wine tasting experience with others. If you would like to ensure a private wine tour for two, we have an option for private SUV tours. If you sign up for a public tour and we are not able to get a minimum of 4 people, then the tour may be canceled. Booking the private SUV tour may still be an option for an additional fee.
CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE TOUR?
Yes, we can create a private or custom tour based on your needs. Private and custom bus tours require a min of 8 people and Private SUV tours hold 2-6.
DO YOU OFFER CORPORATE AND CONVENTION GROUP TOURS?
Yes, we provide turnkey service, great pricing and customized tours to fit your budget and time preferences.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE IN OUR WINE TASTING GROUP?
Most of our tours average 6 – 12 guests.
HOW MUCH WALKING IS INVOLVED?
Minimal walking is required as we provide door-to-door drop off service at each winery.
ARE CAMERAS ALLOWED ON THE TOUR?
Yes, please take as many photos as you would like during any of our wine tours and feel free to share them on our Facebook page!
IS THE VEHICLE AIR-CONDITIONED/HEATED?
Yes, all of our luxury vehicles are air-conditioned and heated.
IS THE WINE TOUR VEHICLE NON-SMOKING?
Yes, absolutely no smoking is permitted on our vehicles.
WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN A TOUR?
You must be 21 years or older to participate in the wine tour and tastings. Some wineries will check ID’s, so be sure to bring a government-issued form of identification.
